The Chapter holds several meetings each month. Meeting dates are listed on our Calendar. Information about upcoming meetings, including the agenda, presentation description, speaker bio, etc., are posted as details become available.

Members and Non-Members are Welcome!

Security awareness, training and education provide the "Biggest Bang for the Buck", so meetings are open to anyone. Open exchange of information is encouraged.

The Chapter meets once per month, generally on the third Friday; from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  Chapter meetings usually feature a presentation on an information security-related topic by an industry expert.

Cyber Defender Workshops are held one evening a month.  The purpose of the workshops is to provide hands-on experience with tools, technologies, and methods to help our members become proficient in the IT security profession. Most workshops require that participants bring a laptop in order to take part, but that is not required and members can come to simply observe if they wish. Unlike our Chapter Meetings, no food is provided, but attendees may bring snacks and drinks if desired.

Sometimes, speakers share with us various materials, including their PowerPoint presentations. Materials from some of our past presentations can be viewed --HERE--.

Board meetings are held as needed.

The locations where events are held varies. Please check the event announcements for information about event locations.

A registration form can be found at the bottom of each event announcement page. It is important for people to register for meetings. Only people who register for remote meetings will receive Zoom meeting information via email the day of the meeting. Lunch is typically provided at in-person chapter meetings and other mid-day events. Please register for in-person events so we can make sure we have a large enough room and enough food!
