Title:  The Absolutely Terrifying Status  of the Internet of Things

Abstract: Faced with a hockey stick growth trajectory, and little agreement on responsibility for management and/or security, the internet of things, especially as it pertains to cybersecurity is very scary. IoT– or the software-operated network of physical devices, vehicles, doorbells, etc. has become a normal part of our daily lives.  They are fun, useful, efficient but also an easy attack vector for cybercrime.  How can we limit this problem?

There have been great strides in tackling this issue in the past couple of years. In the course our presentation we will discuss:

·        What the current & future IoT cyber security landscape looks like

·        The current and anticipated device threat vectors

·        How to eliminate the blind spot in cyber security represented by IoT devices

Join Rainer Richter, Managing Director for IoT Inspector, and Dr. Tim Brand, VP of Security & Compliance for Level 5 Tech Group to learn about the very scary IoT of Things landscape and real world answers.
